  • We wanted to get married in Brooklyn to honor Sam’s late father, Brooklyn-native, Bruce. When searching for Brooklyn venues, we stumbled upon the museum—neither of us had been there before, but were both instantly impressed.

A little bit about the museum: the Brooklyn Museum is one of the oldest art institutions in the U.S. and it boasts a diverse collection spanning ancient to contemporary art. With over 1.5 million pieces, it highlights American, African, and decorative arts. The museum also hosts dynamic exhibitions and events, making it a cultural hub in Brooklyn. • We will be providing shuttles for everyone staying in any of the hotels where we organized room blocks. If you are driving, the address is 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11238, which is the main entrance to the museum, and valet parking will be provided!

  • Formal! Suits for men, and floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses for women.

We would love for our guests to embrace the venue and get creative with their look. Think color, prints and textures. But most importantly, we want our guests to feel their best!

  • The wedding menu will be kosher-style, meaning it will not include shellfish or pork, and meat and dairy will not be cooked or served together. Guests who require a certified kosher meal should select the Kosher meal option when submitting their RSVP.

  • Feel free to text Julia or email her at mezfedwedding@gmail.com with any questions or concerns!
